(PRWEB) November 11, 2005 -- RC Racing fans, both young and old, can now meet and compete at Horsham R/C Racing Family Fun Center, the area’s first RC racing track and retail store specializing in RC racing. Located in the Babylon Business Campus, right off of Horsham Road, Horsham R/C Racing Family Fun Center hosts weekly Saturday RC car races on both indoor and outdoor NASCAR-style oval and touring tracks. Racers can bring their own cars, rent one or even buy one of the hottest new car models from the store’s large stock of brand name cars including Trinity, X-Ray and Kyosho. Horsham R/C Racing Family Fun Center also sells car replacement parts such as wheels, bodies and electronics and repairs RC cars to optimum performance. Offering fun for the whole family, Horsham R/C Racing Family Fun Center opens its racing to everyone from the ages of 7 and on up. Racing sign-up begins at 2 p.m. every Saturday, with competition beginning at 5 p.m. Racers are grouped in heats of 10 cars to determine positions for the main races. Entrance fee is $15, which includes three qualifying heats and one main race. Spectators are welcome to watch for free! “Our facility can handle up to 100 racers,” notes David Young, owner of Horsham R/C Racing Family Fun Center. “I’ve had racers come as far as Manhatten and Pittsburgh to participate in a race as there are not many racing forums in the tri-state area.” For the younger ones, Horsham R/C Racing Family Fun Center hosts slot car racing parties in its large facility every day of the week. In the future, father/son and father/daughter events will be held. For more information, call Horsham R/C Racing Family Fun Center at 215-672-4750 or visit our web site at www.horshamrcracing.com.
